The Nissan S-Cargo is a small high-roof station wagon from the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan . The S-Cargo design was inspired by the Citroën 2CV Camionette; even including the steering wheel. The technical characteristics of the S-Cargo are largely identical to those of the Nissan March and Micra . The Nissan Pao and Nissan Figaro, which were produced in small series, were also derived from the Micra .

The car was presented at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1989 and was manufactured by the Pike Factory for Nissan between 1989 and 1992. Around 12,000 pieces were produced. All S-Cargo are right-hand drive. While they were initially only offered in Japan, there were later also gray imports .

The small mini-van has already achieved cult status, despite its unusual design, which is often compared to that of toy cars. McDonald’s and KFC used it as a mobile advertising space.

The S-Cargo is equipped with an in-line four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1487 cm 3 and an output of 73 HP (54 kW). It has a 3-stage automatic and air conditioning.

There are also optional oval windows in the sides of the cargo area and an electric sliding roof.
