The Bassara is a model from the Japanese car brand Nissan . This was built on the U30 platform and was established in the summer of 1999 in order to offer the middle class vans of the Toyota brand Parole and to conquer a customer base in this segment. The Bassara was distributed in Japan, Hong Kong and Indonesia.

Accordingly, the model was offered in various versions: J, J Splend, Highway Star, V, V touring, X, X Leather Package, X Luxury Package, X touring, Main

These differ in the structure of the interior and are each designed for different uses. While the Bassara in Hong Kong was only delivered with a single-colored dashboard, the Japanese models offered wood decor and a two-tone dashboard as well as decor and two-tone design in the rest of the vehicle. The sport versions were the touring models. The top model of the Bassara was the Highway Star. Prices ranged from 円 2,079,000 to 円 2,798,000. In December 2003 the Bassara was discontinued and replaced by the Presage.
