The Nissan Invitation is a concept vehicle that Nissan presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2012 .

Side view

The five-door hatchback gave for the first time a view of the successor to the Nissan Note built in and for Europe . The series model has been produced by Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) at the Sunderland plant in the United Kingdom since mid-2013 , creating or securing a further 400 direct jobs and a further 1,600 with suppliers.

The concept vehicle was not designed and developed in Japan , but at Nissan Europe NV's technical center in Cranfield, Bedfordshire . It shares the same Nissan V platform as the Nissan Micra .
