The Nissan Lannia is a car model from the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan , which was specially designed for the Chinese market. The four-door notchback sedan is assigned to the compact car class.
Predecessor and design
At Auto China 2014 in Beijing, Nissan presented a first study for a new notchback model called "Friend-ME". At the same fair, Nissan had presented a concept study of the Lannia. At the Shanghai Motor Show 2015, Nissan presented the production model for the first time, the design of which remained very close to the concept study. At this fair he was named "Best New Model to Come". Classic notchback sedans are popular in China. In the Lannia, Nissan combines this classic shape with eye-catching design elements such as boomerang-shaped lights, a V-shaped radiator grille and a wave-shaped C-pillar. The Lannia is designed to appeal to young buyers with its eye-catching design and modern connectivity.

In the Lannia, Nissan offers a security package with parking space monitoring, lane departure warning and blind spot assistant.
Motorization
Initially, only a 1.6-liter petrol engine with 93 kW (126 hp) will be available. A 5-speed manual gearbox or a continuously variable gearbox are used as the gearbox . A 1.8-liter gasoline engine is planned for later.
