Nissan Sentra

The Nissan Sentra is a passenger car made by Nissan Motors and was generally the export version of the Japanese Nissan Sunny . The name Sentra is not used in Japan .

In the United States, the Sentra was originally a compact car, priced between $ 16,430 (base model) and $ 20,990 (top model). Over the years the Sentra has outgrown the compact class; in the entry-level area it has now been replaced by the Nissan Versa . Because of its spaciousness, the Sentra is now rated as a mid-range car by the US EPA .

In some states, the third generation of the Nissan Sylphy is also referred to as Sentra .
