The Nissan Saurus Jr. (internal designation: NSJ-91 ) is a racing car that was produced by Nissan only for the Saurus Jr. Cup at the Tsukuba Circuit in Japan . From 1991 it was available for ¥ 2.3 million as a kit car or for ¥ 2.7 million as a finished vehicle.

The Saurus Jr. is driven by a four-cylinder Nissan MA10E engine with an overhead camshaft ( SOHC ) and a displacement of 987 cm³, which is installed transversely behind the driver's seat . He developed 69 hp (51 kW) at 5600 min -1 and with a manual transaxle combined -Fünfganggetriebe type RS5F31V. This transmission was to a part identical to that of the March R .
The front and rear axles are suspended from wishbones. The tire size is 175/60 R14. The steering is designed as a rack and pinion steering. The single-seat monocoque has a tubular frame with a roll bar and an open plastic body.
Optional extras
The only options available for the Saurus Jr. were a mirror and a rear spoiler. In addition, different rims and tires could be selected.
