In addition, the new Pajero Sport is equipped with the Super Select all-wheel drive system from the Pajero and is offered with two common rail diesels with a displacement of 2.5 and 3.2 liters and a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine. Depending on the version, two rows of seats with five or three rows of seats with seven seats are available.
In autumn 2008 the vehicle was sold in the Middle East, Latin America and Oceania. In Russia, only the five-seater with a 3.2-liter diesel engine is offered. The second generation is not exported to the USA or Western Europe, which means that the predecessor remains without a successor, at least in Germany.
