The Mitsubishi Pajero Pinin (also marketed as Pajero iO and Pajero TR4 ) is a mini SUV from Mitsubishi Motors , which was produced from June 1998 as a three-door and from August 1998 as a five-door until 2006. The name Pinin is based on the company Pininfarina , which produces the European version of the Mitsubishi Pajero known in Japan as "iO". The Pajero TR4, on the other hand, was produced with a facelift until 2015.
From 2001 to 2004 Pininfarina produced a total of 53,774 copies of the Pajero Pinin.
The Changfeng Liebao Feiteng , introduced in China in 2003, is based on the Pajero iO.
