The Mitsubishi Cordia is a coupé built by Mitsubishi Motors from autumn 1982 to mid-1990 based on the Tredia mid-range sedan . The previous model is still on the Lancer -based Celeste .

The name Cordia is a combination of "cordorite" (a shiny mineral) and "diamonds" (for the Mitsubishi logo).
