The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a compact SUV produced by the Japanese car manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors . It premiered at the 87th Geneva Motor Show , and it came to dealerships on January 27, 2018.
Vehicle characteristics
The Eclipse Cross positions itself between the ASX and the Outlander . The name comes from the 1990 built by 2012 Eclipse - sports cars .
The infotainment system includes a free-standing screen above the center console; it is operated via a touchpad . Smartphones can also be linked using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto . A head-up display is optionally available.
A gasoline and a diesel engine are available as drive . The 1.5-liter gasoline engine with turbocharging is either 6-speed manual transmission or CVT to have. The 2.2-liter turbodiesel is only available with an 8-speed automatic .

In 2017, 24 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross - including 3 with diesel drive and 14 with all-wheel drive - were newly registered in Germany. In 2018, out of a total of 9,725 vehicles, 14 were a variant with a diesel engine and 2,506 were a variant with all-wheel drive. In 2019, 1,370 of a total of 11,385 Eclipse Cross had a diesel engine and 2,672 all-wheel drive.
