The TOI TOI & DIXI Group is one of several independent service companies run in the legal form of a GmbH , which in particular rent out mobile toilet cabins and toilet vehicles as well as sanitary containers, room containers and safety fences and provide the associated services. history
The company Port San Ser based in Velbert in 1973 from that in Germany founded living American Fred Edwards, of the system of mobile toilet had developed while he was stationed in Germany. TOI TOI was founded in 1983 by Harald Müller based in Wiesbaden and offered similar systems.

In 2019, the financial investor Apax Partners bought a majority stake in the company. However, ADCO retained a significant minority stake.
The enterprise
TOI TOI & DIXI Sanitary Systems is represented by service centers at twelve locations in Germany. There are also numerous service locations from which delivery and service are carried out. The company rents out over 90,000 mobile toilet cubicles across Germany (as of 2011). In addition to the rental of toilets, the company offers accompanying services such as setting up cabins or sanitary containers, a regular cleaning, disposal and repair service as well as the return transport of cabins and containers.
According to its own information, the company is the world market leader in the field of mobile sanitary solutions. As the world's largest provider of mobile, connection-free sanitary units, the company is represented in a total of 33 countries.

Range of services
The focus of the company's offering is the rental of mobile toilet cubicles. The cubicles used by TOI TOI & DIXI (colloquially often "Dixiklo" or "Dixi-Klo", in Austria also "Pipibox") consist of a colored plastic housing with an integrated tank. This is filled with water and a biodegradable sanitary concentrate. The tank contents are pumped out at regular intervals by special service vehicles ( suction trucks ) from the company and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner in sewage treatment plants. The toilets are often equipped with a urinal and some also have a washbasin and a water flush . They can be used anywhere as they are completely independent of the water supply and sewer system .
The company also offers rentable toilet trolleys, sanitary containers, waste water tanks and sanitary trailers. In recent years, the range has been expanded to include related services such as the rental of space containers and safety fences .
