The TSV Friedrichsberg-Busdorf (officially: Friedrichsberg-Busdorfer Gymnastics and Sports Association eV ) is a sports club from the district Friedrichsberg the town of Schleswig in Schleswig-Flensburg in Schleswig-Holstein . The part of the name Busdorf refers to the municipality of Busdorf, which borders on Friedrichsberg . The club owns, among other things, divisions for football , handball , volleyball and table tennis .
Club history
The association was founded on January 29, 1948. TSV Friedrichsberg, which existed until 1934, is considered to be the predecessor. The soccer division was founded in 1949. The home of the footballers and track and field athletes was initially the sports field at Husumer Baum and, from 1960, the Prinzenplatz. The sports facility Zum Öhr has been the home of the club since 1985 .
Football department
From 2002 to 2017 the men's team of TSV Friedrichsberg-Busdorf played in the second and third highest Schleswig-Holstein amateur classes.
As champions of the North-West Association League, TSV Friedrichsberg-Busdorf rose to the Schleswig-Holstein Oberliga in 2017 , the highest amateur class in Schleswig-Holstein. As the bottom of the table, the club rose again at the end of the 2017/18 season and has been playing in the Schleswig State League since then . In the 2018/19 season, TSV Friedrichsberg-Busdorf took seventh place in the state league.
