The gymnastics and sports club Hürup from 1912 e. V. is a sports club from the municipality of Hürup in Schleswig-Holstein .

The club became known nationwide through its handball department , whose first men's team played in the regional handball league for several years and took part in the main round of the DHB Cup in the 2004/05 season . There the team was eliminated in the second round by a 29:44 defeat against the second team of SG Flensburg-Handewitt . After the team became champions of the Schleswig-Holstein League in the 2012/13 season, they have been playing in the Hamburg-Schleswig-Holstein Handball Oberliga since the 2013/14 season . A total of four men's and two women's teams take part in the game. The sports hall on Bahnhofsstraße in Hürup has been a venue with space for around 150 spectators since 1981. In 2012 he was baptized by the parish in Paul-Jensen-Halle , named after the former chairman Paul Jensen, who headed the association for 37 years from 1957 to 1994.

In addition to handball there is a table tennis and gymnastics department .

In 2007, the youth committee of TSV Hürup was awarded the Stark Prize for its exemplary voluntary work.
