Stark price
The Stark Prize (own spelling: STARK Prize ) is the highest award of the State of Schleswig-Holstein for volunteer youth, young adults and youth groups. The prize, endowed with 1,000 euros, is awarded annually by the Prime Minister to five groups and two individuals.
history
In 2001 the Stark Prize was launched by the then Prime Minister Heide Simonis . "It was important to me to donate a prize that honors the commitment of young people in Schleswig-Holstein. An unbelievable number of young people make themselves strong in our country and for our country. That is why there has to be a way of saying thank you to say " said Simonis at the 2004 award ceremony. The prize has been awarded to five youth organizations every year since 2001 and to two individuals since 2006.
