The Tanzsportzentrum Aachen e. V. is a German dance sports club based in Aachen , which focuses entirely on Latin American formation dancing . It was founded on February 6, 2002 and arose from the spin-off of the very successful formation department of TSC Schwarz-Gelb Aachen .
Latin formations
A-team
The A-Team started in the 2002/2003 season with the theme "Gypsy". "Latin America" followed in 2003/2004 and "Cuba!" In 2004/2005.

In 2005, many members left the club, so that the club, which at times had a large number of members, only started with one team in the 1st Bundesliga. Nevertheless, the club was able to prevent relegation in the 2005/06 season. In 2006 the TSZ Aachen signed Oliver Seefeldt as head coach. Oliver Seefeldt was a dancer and trainer and was also known to a wide audience through his participation in two seasons of the RTL show " Let's Dance ".

After 21 years in the first Bundesliga (including the time at TSC Schwarz-Gelb Aachen), the TSZ Aachen team relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2008.
Formation community
For the 2008/2009 season, the club joined forces with TD TSC Düsseldorf Rot-Weiss to form a formation community, which competed in the first (starting place in Düsseldorf) as well as in the second Bundesliga (starting place in Aachen). The coaches of the joint A-team were initially Oliver Seefeldt , Patrick van Tetering and Anna Karina Mosmann .
The formation community competed together from the 2008/2009 season to the 2015/2016 season. The musical themes were:

- 2011/2012: "Like A Rose", 2nd place, trainers: Oliver Seefeldt, Bernd Waldschmidt
- 2012/2013: "Prince of Persia", 2nd place, trainers: Oliver Seefeldt, Bernd Waldschmidt
- 2013/2014: "Persia - A New Experience", 2nd place, trainers: Oliver Seefeldt, Bernd Waldschmidt
- 2014/2015: "Showstars - Rise & Shine", 2nd place, trainers: Oliver Seefeldt, Valentin Lusin , Rico Grein
- 2015/2016: "Showstars", 4th place, trainers: Oliver Seefeldt, Torben Bölk, Valentin Lusin
After the 2015/2016 season, the TD TSC Düsseldorf Rot-Weiss terminated its cooperation with the TSZ Aachen. Then the TSZ Aachen made a formation community with the Boston Club Dusseldorf , with it in the season 2016/2017 in the 1. Bundesliga and in the season 2017/2018 in the 2. Bundesliga respectively with the musical theme of "The Great Gatsby" started.

More Latin information
The club's former B-team, which competed for the first time in the 2007/2008 season with the theme of "Saturday Night Fever" in the West Latin regional league, danced as the new A-team of the 2008/2009 season TSZ Aachen on the same topic as the A-Team of the formation community in the regional league. With five first places it won the regional league season (regional league West I Latin) and was thus able to qualify for the promotion tournament to the upper league. In the seasons 2009/2010 to 2012/2013 the team danced in the Oberliga West Latin.
