The TV 05 Wetter is a sports club from Wetter in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district . The club is known for its women's volleyball team, which was represented in the Second Volleyball Bundesliga from 2007 to 2011 .
Promotion 2007
With 16 wins from 18 games, the TV 05 team secured the championship in the Regionalliga Süd-West. Since all other teams eligible for relegation waived, Wetter, who had actually only given up one place in midfield as a season goal before the season, rose directly to the Second Bundesliga . In June 2013, the club entered into a syndicate with TV Biedenkopf , which has been playing as Biedenkopf-Wetter Volleys since the 2013/14 season and is currently at home in the regional league.
