Tadas Kijanskas (born September 6, 1985 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian football player .

Career

societies

Kijanskas started his professional career at FBK Kaunas . After a short move to FK Šilutė , he played again at FBK Kaunas. Then he also played again for FK Šilutė. In 2007 he moved to Vėtra Vilnius . With this he was also able to qualify for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup . The opponent was called Viking Stavanger . The first leg was won 1-0 at home through the goal of Anatoli Ostap , but they lost 2-0 in Norway through the goals of Nicolai Stokholm and were eliminated. Also in the next one reached the Europa League qualification . In the first round they defeated CS Grevenmacher 3-0 each time. Kijanskas also scored a goal in the second leg. In the second round the opponent was HJK Helsinki . They lost the first leg 0-1 at home, but won 3-1 in Helsinki . In the third round it was over against Fulham . They lost both games 3-0. At Vėtra he scored a total of 12 goals in 66 games. In 2010 he moved to Sūduva Marijampolė . After only one season for the Polish first division club Jagiellonia Białystok , for whom he scored twice in 16 league games, he moved to league rivals Korona Kielce the following season . Further positions at Hapoel Haifa and FC Zbrojovka Brno followed . He has been under contract with Hapoel Ashkelon in Israel since 2018 .

From 2009 to 2017 he played a total of 48 international matches for the senior national team of Lithuania and scored one goal.
