FK Kareda Kaunas , formerly Kareda Šiauliai, Sakalas-Kareda Šiauliai, Sakalas Šiauliai, is a former Lithuanian football club. The association, founded in 1935, moved from Šiauliai to Kaunas in 2000 and was dissolved in 2003. The team was two times Lithuanian football champions in 1996/97 and 1997/98 in the A Lyga and before 1968/69 and 1967/77 twice in the previous league of the Soviet Union .
Before 2000, the association was called Kareda Šiauliai , from 1995 to 1996 Kareda-Sakalas Šiauliai . Prior to 1995, he was known as Sakalas Šiauliai , Spartakas Šiauliai, and Statybininkas Šiauliai .
