Tadeusz Krafft (born July 2, 1961 in Bytom ) is a former Polish soccer player who has played for Borussia Dortmund and Rot-Weiss Essen in Germany , among others .
Career
Tadeusz Krafft started playing football in his hometown of Bytom at GKS Szombierki Bytom . In the course of his career he moved to Germany to Eintracht Heessen before he was signed by Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund in July 1985 . He made his debut in the black and yellow jersey on August 16, 1985 in a 1-1 draw against Hamburger SV when he came on for Ulrich Bittcher in the 84th minute . After that, however, there was only one start in the DFB Cup against SC Neukirchen (9: 2), as well as two substitutions against 1. FC Köln (0: 2) and SV Waldhof Mannheim (0: 0) in the Bundesliga.
At the end of the 1985/86 season, Krafft moved to the then second division club Rot-Weiss Essen in July 1986 . But he was not happy in Essen either, he only made five league appearances for the Red-Whites in the 1986/87 season and then left the club for America. In the United States, Krafft played two years in the Major Indoor Soccer League for Chicago Sting and then four seasons for Chicago Power , with which he was 1991 champion of the National Professional Soccer League .
