Taffy Brodesser-Akner
Taffy Brodesser-Akner (born on 26. October 1975 as Stephanie Akner in New York City ) is an American journalist.
Life
Stephanie "Taffy" Akner grew up in Brooklyn and studied at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University (BA). In 2006 she married the journalist Claude Brodesser, both of whom have been surnames since then. You have two children.
She initially worked as a freelance journalist for GQ and The New York Times . Taffy Brodesser-Akner has been a member of the editorial board of the New York Times since 2017.
She is known for her portraits of the actresses Gaby Hoffmann , Britney Spears , the author Damon Lindelof , the gender activist Jill Soloway , the radio presenter Don Lemon, among others . Her articles earned her the New York Press Club Award and the Mirror Award.
Brodesser-Akner published a first novel in 2019.
