The Tahara House on the Jewish cemetery in Oettingen in Bavaria , a town in the Swabian district of Donau-Ries , was built in 1850/51. The Taharahaus , on the road to Dornstadt , is a protected monument as part of the cemetery .

The Tahara House was built according to the plans of the architect F. Leitner. It also served as a Jewish poor house . A plaque with the year of construction is attached to the house. There are also prayers for ritual hand washing, an alms box ( zedaka ) and a memorial plaque outside the Tahara house .
