The Tahtalı Mountains ( Turkish Tahtalı Dağları ) are located in the central Anatolian part of Turkey . It is located in the middle Taurus Mountains , mainly between the provinces of Kayseri , Adana and to a small extent in the provinces of Sivas and Kahramanmaraş .

In the province of Kayseri the mountains are to the southeast, in Sivas to the south, in Adana to the north and in Kahramanmaraş to the northwest. The Tahtalı Mountains are located between the two arms of the Seyhan River, between Zamantı and Göksu . The sources of these two arms are also the northern tip of Tahtalı and the meeting point to the Seyhan River, the southern tip.

The Tahtalı Mountains are about 170 km long and 50 km wide. Many mountains in the range are over 2500 m high. Its highest point is the Bey ( Bey Dağı ) near Tufanbeyli (Adana Province ) at 3,075 meters . The lying parallel rivers Ceyhan and Seyhan have their source in the field and open in the Çukurova - level in the Mediterranean .
