Rapper Taichi

Taichi (also Tightchiaua , Taijihad , Taichingiskahn , Taiwahn , Taiger , real name Aimo Brookmann ; born January 29, 1984 in Montpellier ) is a rapper from Berlin . Taichi is the managing director of the label "mein Label", through which he also publishes his own records.

Life

Taichi has lived in Berlin since she was one year old. He grew up in the American-dominated Zehlendorf in the so-called "Ami settlement". As a child, he played baseball with children of American soldiers, and this quickly led to a liking for rap music . He recorded his first album Schwerer Shit with Michael Mic . It was released on the self-founded "my label". In early 2004 "my label" broke up for the time being and Taichi concentrated on his first solo album. Legend of Tomorrow was released in 2004 on Krasscore Records. A year later came the second solo album Schnell Imbiz .

On his third album Top Story , which came out in 2006, he worked with producers Djorkaeff & Yanek. In November 2006 Taichi and Krasscore Records split. His fourth album Geek! is being brought out again by “my label”. On September 26, 2008, therapy was also published on my label . With the video of the single Final , Taichi reached third place on the MTV TRL Urban Charts.

Taichi distinguishes himself in his texts by the fact that he does not value a certain image, but simply writes down what concerns him. The honesty and emotional depth are also evident in his album with the single therapy of the same name . Since 2010 he has been the sponsor of the project “HipHop goes differently! eV ” , which is supposed to pass on the four elements of HipHop to students in schools.

The first part of his EP trilogy was released on March 30, 2012. Verblendung contains five tracks and with the song Wisdom on Paper has received the first video extraction from it. Other videos include Forget what it was called , Let me fly , Taichi's contribution to the AGGRO.TV format Shut up and don't regret anything .

On May 25th, 2012 the second part of the EP trilogy Verdammnis was released , also with 5 tracks and the first video release Atlantis . Furthermore, Taichi was on a pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago and recorded his daily experiences in his video diary. This video diary can be found on his YouTube channel.
