Taiding is a district of the market Schöllnach in the Lower Bavarian district of Deggendorf . Until 1972 it formed an independent municipality.

location

Taiding is located in the Bavarian Forest about two kilometers north of Schöllnach.

history

As late as 1600 Taiding formed a Hofmark , which was in the hands of the Barons von Schwarzenberg as the successor to the Puchberg family to winemakers . The Hofmark ceased to exist in connection with the sale of the winegrowers' rule and takeover by the sovereign in 1603.

Taiding then formed an office of the Winzer nursing court and a chairman in this. In 1752, Taiding consisted of nine properties. Eight Taidinger properties, on the other hand, belonged to the Hof presidency in the Winsing office of the Hengersberg court .

From 1803 Taiding was under the district court of Vilshofen . In 1838 the municipality, established in 1818/1821, was transferred from the Vilshofen regional court to the newly established Hengersberg regional court and when the Hengersberg and Deggendorf regional courts were merged in 1862 to form the Deggendorf district office, from which the Deggendorf district emerged in 1939. In 1840 the community Taiding had 768 inhabitants, in 1961 there were 835.

In 1964 the Taiding community comprised the following districts: Taiding, Adlmaning, Birnbaum, Brumbach, Englfing, Gaichet, Glashausen, Haidhof, Hinding, Hof and Ilgering. On January 1, 1972, it was incorporated into the Schöllnach market as part of the regional reform . In 1987 the village of Taiding had 119 inhabitants.
