Vilshofen District Court
The Vilshofen Regional Court was an older Bavarian regional court that existed from 1803 to 1879 and was based in Vilshofen on the Danube in today's Passau district . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .
history
In 1803, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the district court of Vilshofen was established. After the establishment of the Kingdom of Bavaria, this was added to the Lower Danube District, whose capital was Passau .
In 1838 the Lower Danube District was renamed the District of Lower Bavaria , from which the administrative district of the same name emerged . The district capital was moved to Landshut . In the course of this administrative reform, the Vilshofen Regional Court had to cede its western communities to the newly established Osterhofen Regional Court .
The court district now included 22 communities: Aidenbach , Albersdorf (now part of Vilshofen), Aldersbach , Alkofen , Aunkirchen , Beutelsbach , Garham , Haidenburg , Hilgartsberg , Hofkirchen , Iglbach , Kirchberg , Königbach (now part of Ortenburg), Ortenburg , Otterskirchen , Pleinting , Rathsmannsdorf , Söldenau , Vilshofen, Walchsing , Windorf and Zeitlarn (district of Vilshofen).
On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the Vilshofen District Court was formed, the district of which was congruent with the previous Vilshofen District Court.
