The Takling La is a high mountain pass in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh .
A trekking route leads over Takling La from Kaza in the southern hospital to the upper reaches of the Parechu and on to Lake Tsomoriri in Ladakh . The pass has an altitude of 5300 m . There are several firn fields below the pass .
