Takuya Masuda ( Japanese 増 田 卓 也 ; born June 29, 1989 in Hiroshima , Hiroshima Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Takuya Masuda learned to play football in the youth teams of Hiroshima Koyo FC and Hiroshima Pigeon FC , as well as in the school team of Hiroshima Minami High School and the university team of Ryutsu Keizai University . He signed his first contract with Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2012 . The club from Hiroshima , a port city in the southwest of the Japanese main island of Honshū , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . He was loaned to V-Varen Nagasaki for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. In 2017 he became runner- up with the club from Nagasaki playing in the second division, the J2 League , and thus rose to the first division. A year later he had to return to the second division as 18th in the table. For Nagasaki he was in goal 48 times. The second division Machida Zelvia from Machida loaned him for the 2019 season. He was in goal for Machida 38 times in the second division. After the loan, he returned to Hiroshima in early 2020.
