The Talaia d'Alcúdia is the highest point on the Cape de Mallorca in northeast Mallorca, which separates the bays Badia de Pollença and Badia d'Alcúdia .
Location and surroundings
The two bays Badia de Pollença and Badia d'Alcúdia are separated from each other by an approx. 6 km long mountain range that ends in Cape de Mallorca . The highest point of this mountain range is the Talaia d'Alcúdia. The north side of the mountain is forested, there is also the former monastery Ermita de la Victoria . The opposite side, facing the Badia d'Alcúdia, is largely barren.
The summit can be reached from several directions as a simple mountain hike. At the summit itself there is a pillar as a marker and several derelict buildings.
