Udo Philipp

Udo Jürgen Philipp (* 1964 ) is a German manager , political official and politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). Since March 1, 2019, he has been State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance of Schleswig-Holstein .

Life

Philipp studied economics and political science in Paris and Harvard . He then worked as a management trainee at Dresdner Bank in Munich (1989–1990), as an associate at LEK Consulting (1990–1991) and at the Treuhandanstalt in Dresden and Berlin (1991–1993) Federal Minister of Economics Günter Rexrodt was. He left the Federal Ministry of Economics in 1995 and held managerial positions for various companies until 2019.

On March 1, 2019, he succeeded Philipp Nimmermann as State Secretary for Tax and Finance Administration in the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Finance, headed by Monika Heinold .
