The Ministry of Finance of the State of Schleswig-Holstein ( FM SH for short , also abbreviated as Ministry of Finance SH ) is one of seven ministries of the Schleswig-Holstein state government .
The Ministry has been based in Düsternbrooker Weg 64 in the government district in Kiel - Düsternbrook since 1952 and is housed in the former Marine Academy , which was rebuilt after the Second World War , located on the Kiel Fjord right next to the Schleswig-Holstein State Parliament .
The current head of office has been Finance Minister Monika Heinold ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) since 2012 , with Udo Philipp (since March 2019) and Silke Torp (since June 2020) assisting her as state secretaries.
Organization and tasks of the Ministry of Finance
The Ministry of Finance is His responsibilities accordingly in three departments ( general ward, budget and investments and taxes parent), which in turn in papers are divided. It is responsible for financial policy, finance and budget, taxes, state investments in companies and administrative modernization.
State authorities
Components of the ministry are the Federal Building Office and the Information Technology Office, all based in Kiel, as well as the tax administration training center in Bad Malente . In addition, a total of 17 tax offices are assigned to the ministry . The area of responsibility of the respective offices does not necessarily correspond to the boundaries of the 11 districts and four independent cities of Schleswig-Holstein.
