Blazon : “Divided equally by green and gold. Above a silver gable, below, above a blue wavy thread, two fallen, crossed green birch branches, each with three leaves. "
nature
The vegetation consists mostly of pastureland and grain fields, which are tilled regularly. In Böhnhusen there has been an above-average activity of the mole for years , which is why it was even reported in the media. Furthermore, piped bats and martens can be found in the western part of Böhnhusen . At harvest time, there are regular reports of wild boars that retreat to front gardens because of the harvesting machines. The Spöck, which divides the place, contains hardly any fish , apart from the rain retention basin in the place itself .
economy
The municipality is predominantly agricultural. There are several dairy farms, horse stables and a veterinary practice for farm animals and horses in the village.
There is a recycling center with a composting facility on the outskirts.
