history

Until 1909, the village of Felm belonged to Count Georg Karl Ernst von Reventlou from Kaltenhof, who sold his property to Landbank Berlin in 1909. All tenants could now acquire their property as property. In 1911 the Landbank sold the last two vacant farm positions to Friedrich Grage in the village of Felm and the Knickwiese position to Friedrich Köpke. In 1911, after the cadastral documents were received, the Landbank Berlin, representing the citizens of Felm, submitted an application to the district administrator of the Eckernförde district to found their own municipality of Felm. Controversial questions about poor association, school, moors and roads prevented the matter. Johannes Rieken acquired the Kaltenhof Resthof in 1913 and had a preliminary dispute agreement drawn up, which 30 Felm house owners (5 were not present) accepted at a residents' meeting on March 25, 1914 in the presence of the District Administrator Freiherr von der Recke and signed the minutes of the meeting.

On December 1, 1928, all manor districts, with which the municipality of Felm was born, were dissolved: the disbanded manor district Rathmannsdorf, consisting of the villages Altwittenbek, Felmerholz and Hollin, plus all extensions and the Rathmannsdorf estate. Here, too, there was a dispute agreement between Felm and the landowner, Baron Weber von Rosenkranz at Gut Rosenkranz, as the owner of Rathmannsdorf. On December 2, 1928, the first election to the municipal parliament with nine municipal representatives took place. Friedrich Grage was appointed mayor of the community, Vosgerau was appointed deputy and later, for a time, forester Adolf Jakobsen, Hollin. Friedrich Grage was sworn in by the chief officer Leo von Kathen on January 9, 1929 in Kaltenhof. On March 29, 1934, the community leader was called Jürgen Plett, his deputy was Gustav Reimer. The “mayor” became the “mayor”. In 1937 the mayor was called Gustav Reimer.
