Krummwisch is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde in Schleswig-Holstein . In its current form it was created in 1929 when it was separated from the Groß Nordsee estate. The goods Groß Nordsee and Klein Königsförde as well as the districts Frauendamm, Krummwisch, Neu Königsförde and part of Jägerslust (the other part belongs to the municipality of Felde ) as well as the farms of Stoffsee, Moorkamp, Heisch and Möglin are located in the municipality.
Krummwisch is located about 18 km west of Kiel between the Kiel Canal and the federal highway 210 to Rendsburg , was first mentioned in 1523 and is predominantly agricultural.

Of the nine seats in the municipal council, the KWG voting community has five seats since the 2008 local elections and the AWG voting community four.

Attractions
Gut Groß Nordsee
The Groß Nordsee estate was first mentioned in the 13th century. In the 19th century it was listed as an agricultural model estate. Today it is used as a riding stables.
Gut Klein Königsförde
The estate, which was a Meierhof of Groß Nordsee until 1806 , is located directly on the Kiel Canal and was operated as a restaurant with its own steamboat dock at the beginning of the 20th century. Since summer 2010 there has been a small café there again.
Eider Canal
In the municipality, 1.5 km of the Eider Canal , which was built at the end of the 18th century as a forerunner of the Kiel Canal, has been preserved. The Königsförder lock is one of the six lock locks, with the help of which the height differences could be overcome. The lock was restored together with the wooden Dutch bascule bridge next to it in 1987/88.

The Königsfurt-Urania publishing house is based in Krummwisch.
Personalities
- Helene Dauter, painter (* 1920 in Gilge , † 1996 in Greater North Sea). Her works were exhibited in Husum until it was closed in “Das kleine Museum” . Some of the works were secured in the East Prussia Cultural Center in Ellingen .
