Bissee is a municipality in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district in Schleswig-Holstein . Vielkiek and Bisseer Teich are in the municipality.

Geography and traffic

Bissee is located on Bothkamper See in a landscape characterized by terminal moraines in the Eidertal . The federal highway 215 runs to the west from Neumünster to Kiel , to the east the federal highway 404 runs from Bad Segeberg to Kiel.

history

The village was first mentioned as Bisticesse in 1224 .

Until 1970 the community belonged to the Plön district .
