Bünsdorf ( Danish Bynstorp ) is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde in Schleswig-Holstein . Schirnau , Steinrade and Wentorf are in the municipality.

Geography and traffic

Bünsdorf is about 11 km northeast of Rendsburg between the Wittensee and the Kiel Canal . The Schirnau flows between the two . The A 7 / E 45 runs to the west from Rendsburg to Schleswig , to the north the federal highway 203 from Rendsburg to Eckernförde .

A citizen bus service runs between Bünsdorf and Eckernförde on Wednesdays and Saturdays .

history

The document in which the place was first mentioned was probably written before 1190. The place was originally called Bunestorp .

Community representation

Of the nine seats in the municipal council, the AKWG (General Municipal Voting Community) won six seats and the CDU three seats in the local elections in 2003, 2008 and 2013 . In the local elections in 2018, the community of voters Together for Bünsdorf (GfB) won all nine seats.
