Lütjenwestedt (Low German: Lüttenwiste ') is a municipality in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district in Schleswig-Holstein . Steenhorn, Grenzhof, Ziegelei, Wikhorn, Baß, Helenental, Born, Gravenstein and Schäphorst are in the municipality.
Geography and traffic
Lütjenwestedt is located about 25 km south-east of Heide in a rural setting. The Kiel Canal runs north of the municipality , about 11 km south of the federal highway 430 from Neumünster in the direction of Meldorf and about 12 km southwest of the federal highway 23 from Hamburg to Heide.
politics
Of the nine seats in the municipal council has Wählergemeinschaft KWG since the local elections in May 2013, all seats.
economy
In the predominantly agricultural community there are some trading and commercial enterprises.
