Friedrichsholm ( Danish : Frederiksholm) is a municipality in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district in Schleswig-Holstein . The community has no other districts besides Friedrichsholm.

history

The place was on in 1761 as part of the Geest colonization by the physician Johann Gottfried Erichsen founded by the Danish King Frederick V named.

In the middle of the 19th century, a glass factory and a brick factory were built that used the peat deposits as fuel. However, both operations were given up again before the Second World War.
