Sören is a municipality in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district in Schleswig-Holstein . Sörenerholz is located in the municipality.

Geography and traffic

Sören is a wooded community about 14 km north of Neumünster and 12 km south of Kiel not far from the federal motorway 215 , which runs through the community area.

Community representation

Of the seven seats in the municipal council, the KWG has held all the seats since the local elections in 2003. In the election on May 6, 2018 , with a turnout of 67.32%, four candidates were directly elected, three received their mandate via their place on the list.
