Ottendorf is a municipality in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district in Schleswig-Holstein .

Geography and traffic

The community is located a few kilometers west of the state capital Kiel and is connected to Kiel city center via the 640 bus.

history

Ottendorf was first mentioned in a document in 1270. The place name means "village of Otto".
