coat of arms
Blazon : "In blue a raised golden three-mountain, on it above a blue wavy bar a blue bushel measure accompanied by two awned blue ears of corn."
The bushel and the ears of wheat indicate the importance of Ascheffels as an important place for the regional trade in grain. The wave bar stands for the Rohau, which forms the eastern boundary of the municipality. The Dreiberg symbolizes the location in the Hüttener mountains. The colors show that it belongs to the Schleswig region. In particular, the three mountain in gold was chosen to represent the fertility of the soil and thus high harvest yields as well as lucrative tourism.
