Padenstedt is a municipality in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district in Schleswig-Holstein .

The village is divided into two districts: Padenstedt and Padenstedt-Kamp.

Geography and traffic

In the north of the municipality, the Stör forms the natural border with the neighboring municipalities of Ehndorf and Neumünster . In the east, the urban area of ​​Neumünster joins, in the south the community is separated from the communities of Großenaspe and Boostedt in the Segeberg district by the Hardebek-Brokenlander Au , and in the west the community of Arpsdorf joins. The federal motorway 7 runs to the east from Hamburg to Neumünster, to the north the federal highway 430 .
