Geography and traffic

Seefeld is located about 26 km southeast of Heide in a rural setting. The Kiel Canal runs north of the municipality , about 10 km south of the federal highway 430 from Neumünster in the direction of Meldorf and about 12 km southwest of the federal highway 23 from Hamburg to Heide.
