Nienborstel (Low German: Nienbossel) is a municipality in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district in Schleswig-Holstein . The community consists of the four districts Barlohe , Dörpstedt , cabins and Nienborstel .

Geography and traffic

Nienborstel is a scattered settlement about 25 km northwest of Neumünster and 22 km south of Rendsburg in the Aukrug nature park on the federal highway 77 from Rendsburg to Heide / Itzehoe . South of the municipality, the federal highway 430 runs from Neumünster towards Meldorf and northwest of the Kiel Canal .
