About this picture

Armstedt is a municipality in the Segeberg district in Schleswig-Holstein . In 1985, the community at the district level won the competition Our village should become more beautiful , in which it first took part in the same year. Apart from Armstedt there are no other districts in the municipality.

Geography and traffic

Armstedt is about 6 km north of Bad Bramstedt in the Geest . The federal highway 7 runs to the east from Hamburg to Flensburg , to the south the federal highway 206 from Itzehoe to Bad Segeberg .

history

The inhabitants of Armstedt and some of the surrounding communities forced the connection to the state road 122, built in 1952, by refusing to pay tax to the country in the 1950s due to the ailing road connection.
