Bark is a municipality in the Segeberg district in Schleswig-Holstein . Schafhaus and Bockhorn are in the municipality.
Geography and traffic
Bark is about 7 km west of Bad Segeberg on the federal road 206 to Bad Bramstedt on the edge of the Segeberger Forest. The districts of the community are Bark, Schafhaus and Bockhorn.
The Barker Heide , in which the Bark district is located, is a nature reserve. Other districts are Bockhorn and Schafhaus, which are located directly on the federal highway 206.

Of the eleven seats in the municipal council has the Wählergemeinschaft KWV since the municipal election 2008, six seats, the CDU has five.
