Geography and traffic

Hüttblek is located about 17 km north of Norderstedt in the rural setting of a terminal moraine landscape from the last Ice Age. To the west, the federal highway 7 runs from Hamburg to Schleswig , to the north the federal highway 206 from Itzehoe to Bad Segeberg and east the federal highway 432 from Norderstedt to Bad Segeberg.

The place was first mentioned in 1523 as before that Hüttenblick and was settled from Kisdorf . It originated from a glassworks maintained at this point .
