Rohlstorf is a municipality in the Segeberg district in Schleswig-Holstein . Christianenthal, Düsternbrook, Fährkate, Hexenberg, Imrade, Krögsberg, Margarethenhof, Quaal, Quaaler Teich, Gut Rohlstorf , Warder , Warderfelde and Wardersee are part of the municipality.
Geography and traffic
Rohlstorf is located on the west bank of the Wardersee and 7 km east of Bad Segeberg and approx. 27 km from the Baltic Sea coast on the federal highway 432 .
history
The late Romanesque church in the Warder district was built around 1200. In the past, most of the districts belonged to Gut Rohlstorf. Since the estate districts were dissolved in 1928, they have formed one municipality.
A fire disaster occurred in the district of Quaal in 1445. A devastating fire broke out at a wedding celebration, which is said to have claimed the lives of up to 180 people and, as Torens Brudlacht, literally became the proverbial symbol of sudden serious misfortune .

Of the eleven seats in the municipal council, the CDU had eight seats in the 2003 local elections and the SPD three.

Gut Rohlstorf
In 1846 Kuno zu Rantzau-Breitenburg bought the Rohlstorf estate from Carl Theodor Arnemann (1804–1866) , whose father Georg Wilhelm Arnemann had acquired it in 1827, and built a neo-Gothic manor house, which was demolished in the early 20th century after a fire and in 1912 was replaced by a new building.
