Großharrie is a municipality in the Plön district in Schleswig-Holstein . Kleinharrie, Brauner Hirsch, Kleinharrieredder, Großharriefeld and Vogelsang are in the municipality.

history

Archaeological finds in the municipality indicate a Neolithic settlement around Großharrie. The village was laid out as a Rundling and has been documented since the 13th century.

Geography and traffic

Großharrie is about ten kilometers northeast of Neumünster on the Dosenmoor . The place is between the federal highway 7 in the west, the federal highway 21 (extension of the federal highway 404 from Kiel to Bad Segeberg ) in the east and the federal highway 430 from Neumünster to Plön .
