Jasdorf, Lilienthal, Schaedtbek and Tökendorf that extensions Charlottenhof, Friedrich Berg, Moorsehden, Mörken, Rehburg, Timm Brook, Wildhaus, Wulf castle and Wulfskuhl and the settlement Voßberg and the nobles Good Doberndorf are in the municipal area.

Geography and traffic

Dobersdorf is located about 15 km east of Kiel on Lake Dobersdorf . The federal road 202 , which runs south of Dobersdorf from Kiel to Lütjenburg , and the federal road 502 , which follows the coast north of Dobersdorf and also runs from Kiel to Lütjenburg, are each around 5 km away. The railway line of the Kiel-Schönberger Eisenbahn from Kiel to Schönberg runs north of Dobersdorf.

history

Megalithic graves from the Neolithic Age , including the Urdolmen of Dobersdorf , are evidence of prehistoric settlement in the area. Medieval settlements and fortifications have also been found on the shores of Lake Dobersdorf, suggesting that Wendish fishermen were settled.

The place name Doberstorpe was adopted by Wendish fishermen and may mean village of the Dober or good village .

Noble estate Dobersdorf

The noble estate Dobersdorf became a fiefdom of the Pogwisch family around 1283 , who served the Counts of Kiel.

Since the municipal elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2018 , the municipal council has consisted of 11 members. Of the eleven seats in the municipal council, the Dobersdorf community (BGD) has five seats, the CDU four seats and the SPD two seats.
