history
In 1361 the place "Daventz" was mentioned in a document in today's municipality. In 1739, Friedrich (Sweden), from the Hessen-Kassel line of the House of Hesse, acquired the Klamp estate. Frederick I acquired the property at the instigation of his mistress Hedvig Ulrika Taube in order to take care of the sons who came from this inappropriate marriage. Rönfeldholz originated at the beginning of the 18th century on the area of a forest that was sold for clearing .
